Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center (PKLI & RC), Lahore, is working as a body

corporate in line with the “PKLI & RC Act 2019” passed by the Provincial Assembly of Pakistan. PKLI & RC

is overseen by an independent Board of Governors constituted under the said Act.

We are pleased to offer the highest management position of the institution “Dean of PKLI & RC” for the

eligible and interested candidates.

1. MBBS, or equivalent qualification, as recognized by the erstwhile Pakistan Medical & Dental

Council or Pakistan Medical Commission. (to be verified)

2 Certification by an American Board /MRCP, FRCP (CSST)/FCPS or equivalent, in any of the

sub-specialties of liver and kidney, in either of the fields of medicine or surgery.

3. Eight or more years of experience of working as a Consultant with experience of teaching

and training of doctors.

4. Experience of leading an academic medical institution.

OR heading a liver or kidney disease center, that provides transplant services as well;

OR establishing successful liver or kidney treatment center that also provides transplant

services;

OR heading a clinical department / unit / organization with Kidney and Liver Diseases;

OR having managed at least 100 liver or kidney transplant procedures as an independent

and lead physician, clinician, intensivist or surgeon;

OR 30 or more publications in international indexed medical journals in his/her specialty

pertaining to liver or kidney diseases.

e The selected candidate will be offered a market based (negotiable}salary, in due consideration

of his/her qualification, experience and performance. ‘
